36th Annual River to Sea Bike Ride

The 36th Annual River To Sea Bike Ride is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026!
This event is a 20-mile bike ride along the historic route of the Wilmington Beach Car Line. All age groups and experience levels of cyclists participate in this ride but must be able to ride 20 miles at a casual pace. Helmets are required and cyclists should give their bicycle a thorough safety inspection prior to the event.

Online preregistration will open in April. There is no cost to preregister. Day-of registration will be available for $5, cash only. Please stay tuned for details on this page and our social media. Don’t forget to follow Go Coast for updates on Facebook and Instagram!

River to Sea Bike Ride Expo
New this year: The River to Sea Bike Ride Expo will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Empie Park from 3-7pm. More details to come. Ride participants will be able to attend for free bike checks, register and get more info about the ride, purchase or pick up swag items, hanging out with local bicyclists and organizations who support them, and more!
